It is not the holding it against them that is the problem! It is telling them categorically and frequently that they are talking rubbish, that they are categorically wrong to believe what they do, that they are going to Hell for refusding to bel;ieve what YOU believe.

You are right sririam. Even Christians disagree loudly between themselves, occasionally laying down the law to eachother. Atheists pick on every tiny thing a Christian or non-Christian religious person says & won't let anything go. Accusations fly about. To be honest, I think that picking a poster or posters whose approach you don't like as a big issue misses the point of the board. It is a form of special pleading. There are good and bad discussions on the board. I think we occasionally devolve too much into sides that argue past each other but those sides are at least fluid and not the same divisions across all threads. There are posters I enjoy posting with more than others, but why would that be surprising.
