Look. You've made me come out of retirement.

Don't be so silly. Listen to the esteemed Rhiannon & Mr Gonnagle. OK he's wrong on all that God guff  ;) - but he's right about you staying.

I realise that some of my views are not particularly popular, but I make no apology for them.

For the last week or two I have been seriously considering whether to leave this forum for good, not just one of my 'floo flounces'.

If the general consensus of opinion is that I should be on my bike, I will not incommode you with my presence any longer.

I will let this thread run until the weekend before finally making up my mind.

Floo

This board will be the poorer without you. Please stay. Your uncomplicated directness is one of the things that brightens my day.

Stop havering*; don't be daft - you're not going anywhere - and that's final. (* - look up a Scots dictionary)
"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

It is impossible to leave this forum voluntarily!! Anyway, it's your turn to do the coffee and biscuits next time, so you don't have a choice. :D

Floo, I wind people up, it's well known that I'm regarded by some as a mentally ill con woman. If I'm still here in spite of that then I don't see why you should have to leave.

I thought of this on my journey home a little while ago and thought floo might like it, ignoring the bits about being in love of course, or it might annoy her so much that she'll stay.

GO NOW

We've already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you've got to go
Oh you had better go now.
Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don't want you to tell me
Just what you intend to do now.
'Cause how many times do I have to tell you
Darling, darling,
I'm still in love
With you now
?

We've already said ‘So long’
I don't want to see you go.
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Don't you even try telling me
That you don't want me to end this way
'Cause, darling, darling,
Can't you see I want you to stay?

We've already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you've got to go
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don't want you to tell me
Just what you intend to do now.
'Cause how many times do I have to tell you

I don't want to see you go
But, darling,
You'd better go now.

If you enjoy expressing your pov or following the arguments put by others, why stop?

I can find it irritating when you jump to a judgement and post it without examining all the subtleties of the arguments involved - but that is really my problem not yours. In fact, it can force me to think about something I wouldn't have otherwise, which is probably good.

No, I'd like you to stay.

It wouldn't be the same without you describing someone as " evil scum" now and again  ;D

I don't think anyone expects you to apologise for your POV, we just tease and send you up, now and again.  ;)

It doesn't mean you are not liked Floo, as many people above have said.

There's only one Floo  :)

Floo, if you leave, then when you come back your post count will go back to zero, which will mean thirty odd posts a day to catch up with the rest of us again.

FWIW few people seem to agree with me, but it does not stop me from posting my pearls of wisdom/inane spouting. Stay here and keep with the gang  :)

For a moment I thought all of that rough weather you keep getting up there was starting to get to you.

Your comments are needed floo, every day, they make the bad days seem a lot better.

I don't often agree with you. I often find you mildly annoying. I don't think you should go though. You've been here from the start, as have I. I've often felt like leaving myself but in the end decided not to. Stay.

There are plenty of people on here who have views that are not particularly popular with other members.
So you are not unique in that sense.
I wouldn't therefor use that as a reason to leave.
