I know I am weird but I dislike fresh coffee, like that awful stuff from Costa. I prefer instant, of which I drink two mugs full each morning.

Costa is wonderful and you can buy Starbucks online. I never have, maybe Costa sell it online too.

Floo Starbucks do some instant coffee that tastes like real coffee, someone gave me a cup the other week & i wouldn't have guessed, it was beautiful. She said she  bought it online and not expensive. Still if you don't like real coffee you probably wouldn't like that.

I dislike Starbucks and any of those coffee houses, just not me. I much prefer to eat and drink at home, if at all possible.

Can't remember which one that hands them out but those glass cups, they somehow ruin an otherwise good cup of coffee.

What I was saying was you can buy Starbucks, direct from Starbucks, online, to drink at home.

Apparently Costa do it too - http://www.costa.co.uk/menu/costa-at-home

I might buy some from both.

Ippy - Costa sell latte in glass cups. Think I've had that & liked it but surely you can ask for it not to be in a glass, you can't be the only one who doesn't like it served that way.

Safest not to. Otherwise you might end up actually liking something!

BITCHY! ::)

There are lots of things I like.

I can't imagine why anyone would waste money having coffee delivered to their home when it takes so little time to make it yourself.

I just thought you might if you have guests and want to offer decent coffee even if you don't drink it.
You obviously don't  ;D.

You do make it yourself, it's beans and powder on offer for sale online, not ready made cups of coffee.

(All this talk of coffee caused me to desire a cup, usually I only have it in the morning. I used an individual filter, Waitrose I think. Very nice.)

Guests have to accept what is on offer.

True up to a point - my idea of hospitality, meal-wise, is to offer a choice, to wit: "Take it or fucking leave it"; that's why I'm in Leicestershire's sister publication of Hello magazine, entitled Ayup Duck - but not the most hospitable approach to guests, Shirley.

I usually do, but my wife keeps forgetting, I think she's plotting against me, as if life's isn't hard enough but I'll manage, I'll pull through.

Only family stay for meals so there is no problem.

I am a lover of fine coffee but I never have it in the house, so I always say, 'I have crap coffee or really nice herbal tea'.

I'm waiting for someone to take pity and buy me a Tassimo.

Is that so that you know you can always offer crap coffee?
