In about half-an-hour my reader will be here for nearly an hour. She was the first to respond to my ad in the local paper eight-and-a-half years ago. We know each other well now, of course, and we have worked our way through so many books over that time. Talking books are a boon, but to have someone reading aloud, in such an excellent way is lovely.
