Why are you expecting to find coherent sense looking into a "belief system" from outside? If ad's god is real it need only make sense to itself - if that. Similarly, geometry may make no sense - may even not exist. Does this god live in a universe with spatial dimensions?

Bzzzzt, nil points. Venus would be a worse world for humans but not for any life that may ever (if ever - its climate was once vastly different) have evolved there - just as Earth would be a worse world for Venusian life. Life adapts around its surrounding conditions, not vice versa.

I know this topic has been done before, but I thought I would start a new thread on it. I post on an American religious debate forum where a number of the posters seem to get orgasmic at the idea of unbelievers burning for ever in the fires of hell. Actually they are so crazy they are amusing.

In my, strongly held, opinion, it is just as well you do not post very often as your posts are unpleasant to put it mildly.

There is a poster on another forum I go to who is quite fond of being patronising, but none of us minds because he is evidently a warm, caring person, evident in the way he posts.

All very well & obviously exasperating for you but fact is floo seems to have been severely traumatised by such talk. When things are instilled in childhood they are difficult to expunge & will keep popping up. Does it hurt us? I wouldn't have thought so.
