We've long known - from both archaeology in Jerusalem itself, and Asyyria/Babylonia, that the events as chronicled in Scripture are reasonably accurate at this time in history.

That's fine Anchorman, and the finds are interesting but do we really need all the hysterical bunk form Jewish and Christian web magazines claiming they somehow prove the bible to be true?

I didn't think there was any dispute about the conquest by the Babylonians and subsequent exile.
Some anti-theists might be shocked to discover that the whole section dealing with the Two Kingdom period is, broadly speaking, true.
