Yes, if it's not tipping because the baby Jesus wouldn't like it.

I suppose it's huge from an antichristian perspective.

Maybe Vlad's arguing that since there are so many Christians that are big swinging homophobes that it isn't newsworthy?

Or that it's in there as a "man bites dog" equivalent?

Which would make it newsworthy but you don't seem to think it is so logically you think that there are so many Christians who mistreat people because they are gay that it needn't be mentioned.

It is huge from any persepctive. Using the Bible to defend evil bigotry is HORRIBLE! >:(

You don't think it is newsworthy. Therefore you think Christians mistreating gay people is so common to make it not newsworthy.

Floo I have stated my position that I believe people's main interest in LGBTQ on this forum is to use it as a club on Christians.

It's an approach which has genetic fallacy running all the way through it like a stick of rock.

I am concerned that the BBC has given space over to someone not getting a tip. The matter has been dealt with more adequately, appropriately and at length in social media indeed much of the BBC article IS quotes from social media. Primarily then the issue is newsworthiness.

I suspect the BBC sensationalised this in order to polarise. The intention being to foment the opposite extreme, I.e. Your position as a forum antitheist. It seems they got their "bite" as far as this thread is concerned.

I wonder if you have realised you have been manipulated?

That appears to have nothing to do with your statement about the genetic fallacy. Further it contains a lie that I am an antitheist. Please stop lying.

You seemed to me to be saying it was mete, right, just and condign to weaponise LGBTQ against Christians. If that isn't antichristian I don't know what is.

That attitude is the genetic fallacy writ large. You seem to be channeling Sir Bernard Quatermass late of BBC religion and ethics forum.

I haven't said anything like that at all. Stop making shit up and lying about it.

And I still don't see even with your lies how it is an example of the genetic fallacy.

No, it's anti this action. The title is generated by the fuckwit who wrote the note. It's anti the thread of behaviour that some religious people use to justify the mistreatment of gay people a subject that you gloss over continually. If you want people o shut about abuse because of the people stating that they are doing it in the name of Jesus, then you support that mistreatment. And that's what is revealed here by trying to distract with your illogical whinging, you end up supporting that abuse of gay people.

To be clear, I think the dickhead who wrote this is using Jesus as a cloak for his own hatred and it has nothing to do with Jesus. I also think that your lying and support for this type of action has nothing to do with Jesus.

Of course

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-40898638

How many people did that?

Does it compare to the giving of ones life for another?

I do not believe that not tipping a person for having that tattoo was ever correct.

A waiter or Waitress should be tipped on their performance when serving a customer,

I feel Jesus GETS bad press because people make tipping about something it is not.

Jesus mixed with Prostitutes... He mixed with thieves and outcast and died for everyone when they were at their most evil.

Christians are not here to judge none believers. Governments and officials just like to use things against others to gain power.

Truth is a good thing but treating someone badly because of a tattoo is ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong,. If they had a tattoo saying they hated Jesus then I can see the offense in that.
But really... because they have the one shown... Someone needs to get a life outside judgment.
We know we have to work together to abolish war and terrorism to create a compassionate  world in which Justice and peace prevail. Love ;D   Einstein

Jesus died for no other reason than he was a pain in the bottom as far as the religious leaders of the day were concerned, getting the Romans to do their dirty work for them. As  have said before, supposing he did die to save others, if he was resurrected, his death doesn't compare with those who have died whilst trying to save other people and stayed dead!
