This video, a presentation about an hour long given by Erik Verlinde a few days ago, is excellent. Even if the theoretical models he is using are eventually demonstrated to be incorrect or unsatisfactory, it shows how research into the nature of gravity continues and an understanding of gravity and dark matter/energy may be reached.
