Mostly so that palm oil can be grown by the looks of it.

An appalling tragedy.

The history of monotheism in two paragraphs:

Quote
Ustad Reyhan, from the Islamic missionary group Hidayatullah, has stayed to make sure the new faith is practised.

"For now we are focusing on the children. It's easier to convert them - their mind isn't filled with other things. With the older ones it's harder," he says.
Pain, or damage, don't end the world. Or despair, or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back. - Al Swearengen, Deadwood.

Just been reading the article - ABSOLUTE disgrace. This is how Islam works it's dirt.!!!
It's spread like some wild disease that initially creeps in & then spreads across lands !

Not like the Old Days when it went into small places with a big force & took over, completely disregarding what was there ?!!?!? Can't do that now but says ' you CONvert to 'our' ideas & we'll feed you' !
This is after it's already invaded &helped cause the mess in the first place.
Where has Islam actually made a place better?

Christianity doesn't exactly have a good track record on this either.

No but it's a sadly familiar story.

Not specifically but the article highlights that they needed to convert to one of the official religions - and  it's unclear what the mechanism was for Islam being the one chosen. Further it's also not just about religion it's about the idea that the Orang Rimba are seen as inferior, religion (of whatever type that is 'approved') here is seen as the civilising force, but it's part of a whole view of what is civilised.

Most religions, if not all have a policy of not teaching young children to think for themselves? Oh no they wont be doing that, they need to grab young and vulnerable children before they've reached an age where the're likely to challenge so that they fill their heads full of all this religious nonsense they have this urge to fill their heads with.

Indeed it doesn't, the Christian missionaries often forced their faith on the 'heathen'!

It's in the manual. They're supposed to.
