Armageddon - but not as some know it. Meggiddo's always been a rich seam for archaeology....and Egyptology, since several grat battles were fought there in the New Kingdom. Here's some fascinating stuff from Israeli excavations revealing Canaaanite funerary prctices -an echo oh the Hyksos who ruled Egypt's north at the beginning of the New Kingdom...suggesting that the canaanite civilisation owed its' existance to Egypt kicking out a ruling class with artisans thrown in to add some craftsmanship.
