I think David Milliband would make a good leader of the Labour Party, better than his brother, Ed, and a million times better than Corbyn. I think with him as leader they would stand a good chance of winning an election.

No, I think it would have won the 2015 election. Or, if it had lost and David Miliband had survived,, Remain would have won the referendum, or if it had lost, the Tories would have been annihilated in the 2017 election - well,, actually, the 2017 election wouldn't have happened because Labour would have a lead in the opinion polls.

David Milliband is a self exile in the most lyrical and poetic sense. He was the brother across the sea so as not to queer Ed's pitch but took another three years sabbatical ensuring he is unlikely to have a heroes return, a Bonny Prince Charlie moment at any time that counts.
