Yep, it's great, I have to say I'm tempted to watch what happens.

An escalator would be useful! Whilst my husband can climb the stairs in our home, he doesn't find them easy and no doubt it will get harder as time goes on. A stair lift is the obvious answer, but unfortunately once you get to the top of the staircase you have to turn left and have walk a few feet to a couple more stairs, which take you to the top of the landing, the bedrooms and facilities. I am not quite sure how we solve that one. We like our home and have no wish to move to a bungalow if it can be avoided.

Quite right too LR but get a wet room/large shower put in downstairs (I presume you already have a downstairs toilet, euphemistically called, "Cloakroom").  Then you can relax.

My husband would not approve of that solution even if it was feasible, which it isn't. He likes his bedroom upstairs, and his own personal bathroom.

Seems like a good reason.

Seems like a good reason.

Last time I travelled through it, it was clearly falling to pieces. It was old and tatty and generally rubbish. Mind you, now that airports have realised there is an enormous profit to be made selling things to what is, essentially, a captive audience, all terminal buildings are rubbish.
