I much prefer test cricket. Don't have much time for the short games. They're just a slog fest.

One day has always made sense, but I agree that test cricket is its own thing. Thinking T20 is too long seems just odd.

Cricket is supposed to last for days and bore the arse off all normal people. Making it entertaining is sacrilege.

Agreed. Nothing against one day. Part of the game is that you play long enough for the ball to start doing things it wouldn't otherwise do. That's when you see the real battles between bowler and batsman. I don't see how that's possible for anything much under fifty overs.

Not everyone gets cricket. I used to love watching a test match, lying all day on the sofa drinking beer.
