John Boyd Dunlop - Jim Cooke (Presumably a different JB Dunlop to the previous, this being the inventor of the practical pneumatic tyre (the first pneumatic tyre was invented in the early 19th Century, for coaches, but was not practical as punctures couldn't easily be fixed, so it didn't catch on (amazing what nuggets of information you pick up if you take an interest in cycling history!)))
