West Ham's demise at the Emirates comes as a relief to me. Before that, we were only one place above the relegation zone.
Nah.
You must have watched a different game to the one I did, but then Arsenal fans have always been a bit funny. An Arsenal mate of mine said the same thing as you, to which I promptly replied "Fuck off!" and he was completely mystified (or rather delusional).
The score line was 3-1. Teams that are "better for much of the game" do not concede three goals.
As I said, Gooners are bit funny.
It's funny to conclude that the team that won by two clear goals was better than the team that lost by two clear goals? If my thinking is funny, your thinking is head-in-the-sand relegation thinking.
Not always the better team win.
For a large chunk of the game we were all over Arsenal.
Bugger! Next round then.
Assuming you’re in the next round. What league are Macclesfield in?
Don't know, but they're the lowest ranked team left in the competition. We were one ball away from drawing Millwall. The FA and OB must have shitting it.
I went out with a Millwall supporter once.
For this alliance may so happy prove, To turn your households' rancour to pure love.
That might be pushing it a bit
What a stunningly good start to the season by Watford - I think many were tipping them for relegation, and although I didn't think they'd go down pre-season I wouldn't, in my wildest dreams, have thought we'd have a 100% record after 4 games.
But there is something really weird going on with the fixture listing - 3 of Watford's first 4 games have been at home, and guess what, our next game, vs Man U is also at home. Really odd.
I think this is something to do with Spurs and their delayed move back to White Hart Lane. Currently all teams in the premier league that played 2 home games and 2 away games.Except Watford (3 home and 1 away) andSpurs (1 home and 3 away)And Watford played Spurs (at home, the anomalous game) last weekend.
They want you to have to go to Newcastle in the winter.
