West Ham's demise at the Emirates comes as a relief to me. Before that, we were only one place above the relegation zone.

We're firmly in it and I bet we don't budge.

The weird thing about the Man U Spurs game, was how Spurs were undervalued in the reports. The press has an obsession with Mourinho, which seems to obliterate others' fine play.
They were the footprints of a gigantic hound!

Nah.

You must have watched a different game to the one I did,  but then Arsenal fans have always been a bit funny. An Arsenal mate of mine said the same thing as you, to which I promptly replied "Fuck off!" and he was completely mystified (or rather delusional).

The score line was 3-1. Teams that are "better for much of the game" do not concede three goals.

As I said, Gooners are bit funny.

It's funny to conclude that the team that won by two clear goals was better than the team that lost by two clear goals? If my thinking is funny, your thinking is head-in-the-sand relegation thinking.

Not always the better team win. That's football, because there are so many variables. Mostly teams win because they deserved to but not always, as was the case last Saturday. For a large chunk of the game we were all over Arsenal, or you were watching a different game.

We got three goals past your team. Your team only managed one in reply and that was early on. Three unanswered goals.

And yet it was Arsenal that scored three goals. I think you suffer from cognitive dissonance.

Assuming you’re in the next round. What league are Macclesfield in?

Don't know, but they're the lowest ranked team left in the competition.

We were one ball away from drawing Millwall. The FA and OB must have shitting it. ;D

It's pure hate between our clubs. Never been one to look for aggro but I'd like to experience that athmosphere one day. Away at the Den and go there as a firm.

Ha! :o

I say pure hate, and we do love to hate each other, but there is some kind of mutual respect too nowadays. Similiar beginnings and both hard and we don't care what anyone thinks. Then there is all the good work some old school Millwall fans have done for Isla Caton.

Yes, it actually ended pretty badly in the original.

What a stunningly good start to the season by Watford - I think many were tipping them for relegation, and although I didn't think they'd go down pre-season I wouldn't, in my wildest dreams, have thought we'd have a 100% record after 4 games.

But there is something really weird going on with the fixture listing - 3 of Watford's first 4 games have been at home, and guess what, our next game, vs Man U is also at home. Really odd.

I think this is something to do with Spurs and their delayed move back to White Hart Lane. Currently all teams in the premier league that played 2 home games and 2 away games.

Except Watford (3 home and 1 away) and
Spurs (1 home and 3 away)

And Watford played Spurs (at home, the anomalous game) last weekend.

So it must be time to dust off the EPL managerial sweepstake again. The front runners are Pellegrini and Mourhino. Anybody want to make a case for anybody else?

They want you to have to go to Newcastle in the winter.

Wont matter - we'll have won the league by then ;)
