... and somehow Catholic tat consistently manages to be the worst of the lot.

You should see the R C gift shops they have in the various large towns all over Spain, if you think this lot's tacky don't forget to carry a sick bag when you're next visiting any of the larger towns in Spain, just in case.

That's positively classy compared to some of the stuff I've seen.

It's the statues of Coach Jesus with the tiny hint of paedophilia that I think are impressive. Worth looking at the different sports.

But, not to be left out, we 'Protestant' heretics should take a stand on Luther - literally. https://oldlutheran.com/products/here-i-stand-socks

I wouldn't call that tasteless (metaphorically; I haven't tried it, so can't comment on its literal taste). Anyway, it's political, not religious.

I wish the adherants of the cult of Orangeism believed as you - and for that matter I - do.
Trust me; they do not.

I love that fact that they parade in their bowler hats and sashes with grim scowls on their faces, while their sashes all prominently say "LOL"! :D

What I HATE - and I mean hate - their penguin wddles as they play their music - badly - at 8:30 in the morning as they parade past my house.
Some of the stuff they play is innofensive; simple folksy-type tunes - but they also intersperse the 23rd Psalm (tune 'Crimmond') with "No surrender" and "The sash my father wore" - which really gets me angry.
So, no; they are an amalgum of sectarian hate with religio-politicval anachronisms and a bad take on history.
