I vaguely remember George Soros being mentioned with respect to anti-semitism, but I can't remember which side he was on.

It appears George Soros is not liked by Netanyahu. Who decides what constitutes anti-semitism - the Jews at B'Tselem or the Netanyahu government?

Soros is a democrat, and Trump supporters can't stand him. They believe he organised (and paid) coach loads of people to turn up and demonstrate when Trump first took office. Whether there's any truth in that who knows.

It is interesting timing though - just before the mid-term elections.

I feel the need to point out that the reports of these bombs aren’t just Trump critics, they are people Trump has openly insulted and lied about. My feeling is that this isn’t so much about silencing Trump critics and pleasing him by eliminating those Trump has accused of being anti American.
