Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

To be honest, I don't know anything about the geezer, and neither do I particularly care who a country on the otherside of the world elects as its president, but in the article "far-fight" is freely thrown about as it often is putting him in the same bracket as fascists and neo-nazis. Is he really? Maybe someone better informed than me could answer that.

Brazil's rainforest might belong to Brazil, but it provides planetary scale services to Earth climate and ecosystems so it should concern all of us if Brazil elects a leader planning to accelerate the granting of mining permits in the rainforest and pull out of the Paris accord.

In his own words:

Sounds like a fascist to me.

No doubt Trump will get on well with him.

As I said, I know nothing about the geezer, so maybe he is but I do think the term is used far to freely or rather inaccurately. Anyway, I'll leave it there so as not to derail this thread any further.

Extremist, could potentially turn Brazil into a right wing version of the hard-left Venezuela, where inflation is running at 12,874%.

mmm... In general right wing extremism is looked on more kindly by the finance industry. I think the immediate worry is for ethnic minotities, the LGBT community, and women.

Yep, indeed. And Brazil has a lot of environment to damage.
