Donald Trump is the head of the executive branch of government of the USA. He is also the the figurehead and Head of state of the USA. He shoulders great responsibilities and is well aware of this.

He thinks carefully about who should be a member of his Cabinet. He knows that only he has executive responsibility and so carefully selects them. They know that if they do not meet his expectations then he will remove them from their positions without any delay.

Today the Cabinet is meeting. Donald Trump has a decision to take and it is one which will be of vital national importance. He decided that there is only person who, in this matter, can be trusted to provide that advice. He decideds that the advice should be given in private.

A few moments later the president is in the Oval Office. He checks that the door is shut and that he cannot be overheard. He looks at his trusted advisor and smiles. He takes a deep breath and begins ...

If Trump was a character in a soap opera, people would be complaining that his portrayal wasn't credible. Each day his behaviour is crazier than that of the day before, which is extremely scary.
