Making time for your hobbies
« on: May 17, 2019, 09:25:55 AM »
Do other posters find they have less time to spend on their hobbies than heretofore as I do?

Due to the problems my husband is having at present, I am unable to settle down for long enough to concentrate on my artwork, poetry and writing, which give me pleasure.  My artwork, in particular, has proved popular with people, it gives me great satisfaction to create a work for free just to make someone happy. Hopefully my husband's problems will get sorted out enough so I get a bit more free time to indulge myself in this way.

Thanks. :)

I scrapped my on-line pages as some of my work was stolen. >:( My artwork is digital so I can send it to people by e-mail. If I am creating a picture specifically for a person, I ask which colours are significant to them and when the vibes are right I set about it. A number of people in the public eye have my creations. :)

I must be lucky: though I still work full-time, I have plenty of spare time for hobbies and interests: reading, cycling, collecting books, especially Everyman's Library, and, every autumn, making cider from my own apples. I used to write poetry, but don't really any more.
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.
