Murder Case Julie Reilly

 This is a two-parter in the series from the BBC Scotland channell. Both parts are available on iplayer. I knew Julie; I know her mum well,and her daughter. Both are shown trying to deal with the horrifying disappearance of Julie,and the equallysickening way in which her murderertreated her body. The programmes deal sensitively with thefamily,and examinine the police aspects of thecase in a fly-on-the-wall from thevery start. Very moving andsympathetic treatment,and compelling watch. Sounds very compelling. I'll have to watch it.

The only issue I have is that this is posted under "Literature, Music, Art & Entertainment" which seems somewhat weird for a programme about a real murder case. I'll be honest, I'm not sure where else to put it, except general discussion.

I was involved with the family in a minor capacity as an elder -  one of the family is a member of my congregation.
The horrific treatment of Julie's remains, and the re-burying of her coffin following the second funeral still disturbs me.
Julie had a complex life, but had overcome a drug habit decades ago -  but it, and her subsequent brain injury, left her tragically vulnerable
