That is heartbreaking news, what an epidemic; heartwarming that so many were willing to travel to Samoa to take care of the sick for three weeks.

I'm not generfally one for either making things compulsory ot banning them, but vaccinations should be compulsory with no exceptions other than genuine medical ones.

I think they should be compulsary if you want to interact in public spaces. Also think parents shouldn't be allowed to withdraw them for children unless there is a genuine medical reason. This isn't one of those things where 'parents know best'. Vaccination saves lives.

Parents need to realise that they don't own their children and should be under an obligation to act in the children's best interests - not some tripe they read on Twitter.

I agree and it is about time the Government sorted out the vaccination debacle, making them compulsory except in the cases where having one would harm a child with a medical condition.

I don't believe she did. What she did say is that "According to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), we are less than 12 years away from not being able to undo our mistakes." In other words, it is the judgement of the world's experts that we have that long before it will be impossible to limit warming to a level that would prevent potentially catastrophic changes to the world's climate.
