I've watched a bit of the virtual tennis and while it has some entertainment value listening to and watching the players on video. But it doesn't feel anything like the real thing.

It's odd = it's done really well and graphics are excellent. That you see the players in real life playing the game adds something but it's utterly lacking in involvement for me - still Andy Murray is very good at it.

I have just seen this.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/53148053

They knew they had tested positive for the virus, being taking part in the sport. They should be banned from ever playing professionally again!

It's not clear from that report that they knew before they played

I got the impression from what was said on the BBC News that they did know and still played.

Then I think you need to wait before declaring that they did know

And More tournaments called off in China - I don't see that the Year End for men is going to make much sense. And I suspect that there are still possibilities that either or both of the US and French Opens might not go ahead. Even if they do, can imagine them being very light in participants.

Asheigh Barty pulls out of US Open - suspect this may trigger a number of others to so the same.

Andreescu pulls out - not a surprise. Not sure when there was a US Open where both singles champions were not playing

Good win for Evans against Rublev, and Murray beat Tiafoe. Tough matches up next with Murray playing Zverev, and Evans playing Raonic. Losses for Watson, Edmunds, and Norrie.

Konta wins and put in an impressive performance. Murray out in straight sets to Raonic
