Apparently I'm a match for a Julian Bashir (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).

Never seen this programme, so I now need to find out what this guy is portrayed as being like.

Update:

Apparently I'm a but like this:

Quote
As a child, Julian Bashir fell behind in school, and was evaluated as having learning difficulties. Because of this, his parents, Richard and Amsha Bashir, had him subjected to genetic engineering.[3] The procedure made him mentally superior to most humans, and greatly enhanced his physical abilities.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Bashir

One can only assume that I was subjected to the Friday afternoon shift at the genetic engineering workshop.

It's probably the most consistently strong of the multitude of Star Treks. Julian is  the space stations doctor. A bit of a ladies man, and over the show while always on the side of right becomes a bit more ambiguous as a character. The whole thing is on Netflix and as ever you need to give it a few episodes to warm up but it's good quarantine stuff

I'll do that - I'll be on the lookout for the small, bald and bearded chap  8)

To alleviate to lockdown boredom I've asked Mrs G to complete the survey by rating what she thinks of me (not a lot, no doubt) and I shall report back: my expectation is the the outcome of her assessment will be the polar opposite of Julian Bashir.

Nog from DS9.

Utterly disappointed as I dislike the Ferengi even more than the impossible Klingons, and DS9 for me is the most unlikeable of all Star Trek series. I know NS rates it and I appreciate it is in many ways the most consistent of the shows - but likeable never.

Update - according to Mrs G I am like the character Varys, from Game of Thrones, which I have never seen.

Since a quick glance says the chap is a eunuch I have a few questions about where 3 children came from.  :o

As you may have seen elsewhere, I am rewatching The Original Series, which overall is my favourite. Despite there being a huge drop off in the quality of the stories in the 3rd series, it's the one for me that is the most likeable and has my favourite character.

The Next Generation has some good stuff but is very patchy, and had a number of characters I found tedious, and yes, Wesley Crusher, I'm mainly looking at you.

Voyager is even worse for boring characters (Neelix wins out there in a crowded field), and is only really saved by the EMH and Seven of Nine.

Never managed to get interested in Enterprise. And Discovery and Picard don't seem to work for me.

Who the fucking fuckety fuck-fuck is Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes? I've never watched 'Lost' in my life!
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

This appeared on my timeline so I did it again. Not much change, though there appear to have new characters added, and I have a new no 1. Alan Shore from Boston Legal with which I am very pleased
