I realised some time back that, if I'm in anyway down, I'll tend to reach for my Bruce Hornsby (and the Range) material.  His 'Greatest Radio Hits' is well worth a listen to.

Can't say that I've ever heard it before today.  Can't think of specific songs but it seems to reflect the sentiments of many other songs.
