Always been a great fan of anything Beethoven he's my favourite composer of all time and now at last I'm able to really enjoy listening to his ninth symphony once more.

Or this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WlbQRoz3o4

Had a listen to your link, I've had my desk top linked to my Hi Fi system for some time now so the music doesn't get topped and tailed I get to hear all frequencies loved the musicianship of the group supporting the singer they make it look so easy.

I'm not that sure if you were trying to get over some point or another to me within maybe the text of the song, I was wondering does my past adoption of my two mixed race sons set aside some of whatever was you may have been trying to convey to me, perhaps within the words of that song?

I was in my car travelling home today and they were doing requests on Classic FM, someone asked for Beethoven's 9th and that was rapidly followed by a request for 'Land of Hope and Glory', it's quite difficult to stand and do an imaginary salute to the flag when you're driving, it's a wonder I didn't crack the windows with Elgar's jobbie.

Regards, ippy.

P S I'm just a leaver not your mortal enemy or an enemy of anyone else.

Ippy,
Sorry, I was not attempting to convey any subtle (or other) message to you and would not see you as any enemy in any way (- just misguided) :)

I've loved Leonard Cohen's work for decades and his sardonic darkness so well reflects the nationalist misery and isolation into which so many countries, not just ours, seem to be descending.

- As an opposition to the inspiring optimism of the Ode To Joy.

Likewise in all departments of your letter, with a visa versa on misguided though.

Did the 9th at the Albert Hall last year 400 in the choir + about 50 young singing children too and I'm optimistic about getting on with our close neighbours as well can't make the word 'Wow' large enough here but what a 'Wow' of a concert.

I have travelled through Europe many times in my younger days I love Europe it's a very friendly and beautiful place.

Regards, ippy.
