Some Warren Zevon

Greatly missed singer-songwriter with an acerbic wit that came out in his songs.

Roger Daltrey from his 'Daltrey' solo album ..... I was originally listening to this in the '70s.

Thank you again Scara for directing me to (possibly - who knows) my original lost album and Quizzi for your efforts.

Only recently found this artist and can't get enough of him, so got the urge to come on here and share (don't really share the tatses of those around me in music, so thinking maybe there'll be someone on here that might be more receptive to it)

Well, I usually associate the song with Rogers and the Dude. The problem is that I'm an album orientated person and the rest of First Edition's album is unlistenable. The same goes for a lot of classics and I only get to enjoy them through funk covers or samples.

A slightly different take on Northern Soul - Paddy's got some moves:

Much better than Duffy's 'Mercy' video...although finding the song title did throw up this piece of genius:

I'm mildly OCD so putting on an album for one song really bothers me.

I never had a problem buying an album for one killer track if it wasn't available on a single, especially if it was for playing out.

Agreed, indeed I have just bought some L42 on vinyl to get a copy of one track - it was nice I liked several of the others, but it was for one track!

FastFlint,

I think you might get a kick out of Victor Wooton, who takes slap bass to another level:

I've just realised that my Paddy comment could be terribly misconstrued to be a slur against the Irish. I was of course referring to the male lead in the video, Paddy Considine.
