I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?

There's quite divided opinion about this band, but I like them ... they closed Glastonbury last night.

The folk, with brass mix, I reckon is good... :)

More Santana.
This is heavily cut, but worth watching as a lot of it is from different camera angles to those in Woodstock.
Play it loud.

This is for all the family - it's a premillenial dispensationalist Biblical prophecy Southern Gospel song, warning you that we're in the Last Days! Take cover!  First recorded in 1972, so it's 40 years late, but never mind.

I liked that but there's a fine line between opera and panto.

I think the difference is that pantos have more sensible plots.  And the principal boys are better looking.

I love this woman

She was a goddess, and then she died.
What a ****ing bummer.

Anyway, is Professor Brian Cox the love child of Davey Jones?

Relax Erik, we don't try to top each other on this thread..... just post what we enjoy listening to. :)
I don't normally listen to Louis and Ella - just seemed right at the time.

This is another appropriate song for these hot, hot days..... feel the breeze...

Oops.  Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.  I'm right with you on the spirit of this thread.

I always associate this with hot summer nights, I think it's the line 'the night is so black that the darkness cooks':

This could be sad but there's something in the beauty of the lyrics that gives it strength.

The Temper Trap ~ Everybody Leaves in the End

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KwtmLQjGh4

"You have surrendered to life's bitter hour
In the deep lies your freedom
In the stars is your home"

There's a wonderful chord change at 3:15 too

Enjoy....

All God's children need traveling shoes
Drive your problems from here
All good people read good books
Now your conscience is clear
I hear you talk girl, now your conscience is clear

In the mornin' when I wipe my brow
Wipe the miles away
I like to think I can be so willed
And never do what you say
I'll never hear you and never do what you say

Look my eyes are just holograms
Look your love has drawn red from my hands
From my hands you know you'll never be
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety

We just poked a little empty pie
For the fun that people had at night
Late at night, don't need hostility
Timid smile and pause to free

I don't care about their different thoughts
Different thoughts are good for me
Up in arms and chaste and whole
All God's children took their toll

Look my eyes are just holograms
Look your love has drawn red from my hands
From my hands you know you'll never be
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety

Cup of tea, take time to think, yeah
Time to risk a life, a life, a life
Sweet and handsome, soft and porky
You pig out 'til you've seen the light
Pig out 'til you've seen the light

Half the people read the papers
Read them good and well
Pretty people, nervous people
People have got to sell
News you have to sell

Look my eyes are just holograms
Look your love has drawn red from my hands
From my hands you know you'll never be
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety

Look my eyes are just holograms
Look your love has drawn red from my hands
From my hands you know you'll never be
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety
More than twist in my sobriety
