No, I'm bloody well not - roll on normality. This half-life we're living now is a pain in the nether orifice.
I repeat: how many proper books, including braille and audiobooks, but not ones saved on an e-reader, do you own? I take it that the point of the game is to answer the last question asked, not the last-but-one or the last-but-two.
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

Correct.

We used to own hundreds but got rid of many of them as we only use our Kindles these days, much preferring them to actual books.

When did you last use a library? I haven't used one for about 30 years or more, we preferred to buy the books we wanted to read.

About a year ago, before the lurgy. I too prefer to buy books, but I sometimes go in to use their computer or with my own laptop to use their free wifi, rather than use up my payg credit.

A duck.

Do the questions have to make sense?

No. (The correct answer is "one of its legs are both the same".)

No.

When you're ill, do you like the fact that you don't have to go anywhere and therefore don't have to wash?

If I'm well enough to feel like that, yes, otherwise no.

Who here knows what the Finnish word " kalsarikännit" means ( without googling it)?

I didn't think they might, ad-o did.

What one word would you use to describe a person who intends to sit around in their underwear and get drunk?

Why do some people pronounce "Ralf" as "Raif"? Using the same logic "Rolf" should be pronounced "Roif".

Just a different way of pronouncing it, strictly speaking, 'Rafe' is the correct way (old Norse name which of course you know).

What do you consider to be the height of vulgarity?

Mine does, don't forget to stir halfway through.

When you are reading poetry to your loved one by the crackling fire in the evening, do you develop a crick in your neck?

Why do some people pronounce "Ralf" as "Raif"? Using the same logic "Rolf" should be pronounced "Roif".

The composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams insisted that his name should be pronounced "Rafe" and it still is by anyone who knows anything about him (including Radio 3 announcers). He was born near Swindon - it that has any bearing.  8)

HH you didn't answer ad_o's question.

HH you didn't answer ad_o's question.

OK - what I intended people to understand was "It's pronounced "Rafe" because that is the way its owner wants it to be pronounced."
Perhaps I expected too much ...

Some form of proportional representation for general elections (ideally single transferable vote); and the disestablishment of the Churches of England and Scotland (both more hopes than expectations, though).
What time is it?

Against. The UK needs each of the countries, which make it up. United we stand, divided we fall, imo

If you are English do you think you are a cut above, the Welsh, Scots and Northern Irish? I am half English but regard England as no more special than the other countries, which make up the UK.

No, I don't. (I am mainly English, with a bit of Scotch from my Scotch maternal great-grandfather.)
What is your favourite single malt Scotch?
