Not particularly, especially if it's for work.

If you had enough money, would you ever work again? I wouldn't.

Yes.

Would you own a second home if you were able to make good use of it?

I do own a second home and the two months that I spent in it this year preserved my sanity and saved 2020 from being totally written off.

No I wouldn't.

What would you miss most if you could no longer have it?

Books.
What, if anything, do you give up for Lent?
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

Nothing as Lent doesn't feature in my scheme of things.

Do you wash up by hand or use a dishwasher?  When our dishwasher packed up I decided we didn't require another one, as it is rare for there to be more than the two of us for a meal, so there are very few dishes. I can wash them up in a couple of minutes.

By hand. I've never owned a dishwasher - they strike me as an unnecessary waste of space.
Do you dry clothes on a line or rotary thingy, or in a tumble-dryer?

I used to have a tumble dryer, but these I put them out on airers on nice days and on the radiators in winter.

Do you have a microwave? I use our much more often than the oven.

I use a dishwasher even though I live alone.  I generally use a "rapid wash" programme which takes about 20 minutes three or four times a week.

Washing by hand can use five or six times the quantity  of water that a dishwasher will use for the same load, so it is more efficient in its use of water. Add to this a comparison of the cost of heating the water being used to either hand wash or machine wash and it becomes clear that -  environmentally - dish washing can be preferable to hand washing.

Do you think that Boris johnson will be PM this time next year?

Probably, unfortunately.
Do you think Keir Starmer will ever be Prime Minister?

I certainly hope so, I think he stands a reasonable chance of winning the next election.

Would you have liked to have been a politician?

Probably not. Not a great liar. The gravy train does appeal to me though.

Yes I like garlic.

Do you have an office/study in your home. We have always had a study in each of the properties in which we have lived since we married in 1969. As my husband is an academic they were very important to him. In spite of his brain damage he still manages to do complicate graphs on his computer, although he couldn't send an e-mail!

No.
Do you like apricots?
I think they are utterly vile - the fruit from hell. I feel slightly queasy just typing the word.

I like apricots.

Do you use real handkerchiefs or paper ones? The latter for me.

Paper ones  nowadays. Used to have handkerchiefs as a kid in my school blazer pocket.

Does anyone use wet wipes instead of toilet paper? Much better, I reckon.

No. Wet wipes should never be put down a toilet, they can block the drains. It is frowned upon here in the UK.

How many toilets do you have? We have three.

I like our detached house, neither my husband or I would wish to live in an apartment.

Do you have a bucket list.

No. I've got two buckets, but it's not worth listing them.

Detective fiction on my Kindle.

If moon trips at a reasonable price, were on offer to the general public would you consider going on one? I might have done when I was younger.

Like you, would have dedinitely said yes when younger. Now I'm middle-aged, no.

Have you ever been to Copenhagen? Went there last year and is definitely my favourite European city.

No.

Have you ever been naked in public? It is something I would rather die than do, for which the world must be very grateful. ;D
