Yes - but it depends on what you mean by "public".

Many years ago my wife and I were on holiday in Provence and we took a boat trip to the Ile du Levant, on which is located a nudist community. This was not near the port area where we found a market selling holiday goods.

We had a return crossing but it was not for about four hours. We decided to relax on a beach. We saw that there was one about a kilometre from where we were. As we walked along the road we came to a barrier. In a small shelter next to the barrier was a naked woman. She told us to get undressed before going any further. People who were walking along the same road demonstrated that they were already prepared for this instruction. We took our clothes off on the spot.

We sunbathed for a couple of hours, nearby everyone else was naked - including whole families. And we walked some distance back to the barrier before attempting to put any clothes back on. It seemed normal and unremarkable.

The BBC's charter is due for renewal in 2027. Do you consider that the BBC - as we know it - will continue beyond this date?

Have you any antiques? We have a church pew my mother bought from a monastery sale in 1952 she got it for a fiver. It is a few hundred years old and has some intricate carvings on it.

Yes. I have a number of old books, the oldest being a very tatty edition of 'Robinson Crusoe' from c.1760, and some old clocks, the oldest being a long-case made by John Pitt of Tetbury between 1830 and 1856.

Who put the bomp in the bomp-ba-bomp-ba-bomp? Who put the ram in the rama-lama-ding-dong?

Yes, if I could then get back, that is. I'd travel back to West Ham glory days of the mid 60's, or late 70's/early 80's and see how easy it really was to take the Shed.
