No. I'd just laugh and ask why Orange Man (with a syrup) from the Tango ad's has turned up on my doorstep, then shut the door.

A few hundred & some small change  ;D .

Would you use the Accessible Toilet if you were in a queue, desperate and there were no disabled people about?

A salad as usual.

Have you ever fallen out of a tree? As a child I managed to fall out of a tree I was forbidden to climb, not once but twice. :o

Yes, from swinging on a rotten branch which snapped.

Have you ever fallen off a horse?

Yes; many times, but injury-wise without much more than bruising (in my younger days I rode a lot, and had my own horses).

Would you forego a traditional Christmas dinner in favour of a decent curry (I would)?

As much as I love a decent ruby, I don't think I would.

What's your favourite curry?

I don't eat curry nowadays as it doesn't agree with me, but when I did I liked them as mild as possible.

Have you been to Madam Tussauds? We took our children there many years ago.

Yes - when I was a kid, not been back since. Couldn't see the point and preferred the grisly chamber of horrors bit to slightly weird wax versions of vaguely famous people, some of which bore little resemblance to the person they were supposed to have been representing.

Do you play a musical instrument? - I play the guitar for fun, albeit I am considerably worse than I was 30 years ago.

The recorder, though I haven't done so for many years.

How much do you hate the Tories?
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

How much do you hate the Tories?

At the risk of coming across all 'hate the sin, love the sinner', I don't hate anyone because they're a Tory, I try to avoid hating people in general, I find it's counterproductive.  If you hate you give them power of you - I despair of some of the Tory policies and rhetoric, but I'm married to a Tory voter so I can see in at least some of the instances where they're coming from.

They're not evil, they're not hateful, they love their country and their history and their people, they simply have different priorities about what those institutions and groups benefit from or need, and a different balance of priorities between them and others.

We'd all be a little better off if the world spent less time talking about people they disagree with in terms of 'hate' and more in terms of 'don't understand... yet?'

That said... what's the most destructive post-war UK government policy been?

O.

Privatisation: disastrous for the railways, the post, and most other privatised industries.

Would you eat chlorinated chicken? I certainly wouldn't, knowingly, and I hope that it's clearly labelled as such if we start importing it from the USA.

Beetroot, liver and tripe. YUCK!

Have you ever been to the London Dungeon? Our children loved going there when young. :)

Yes - was going to mention it when answering about Madam Tussauds as I much preferred the London Dungeon.

Have you ever had a McDonalds milk-shake? The first (and I think only) time I had one was as a kid when I went on a trip to the London Dungeon and Museum of London. I now try to avoid McDonalds like the plague - don't think I've been to one for decades.

I don't like milkshakes. However I do like McDonald's takeaways, but only treat myself once in a blue moon.

Do you like ground coffee, or instant? Me being me I much prefer instant.

I like both but ground coffee is better. Plenty of cream and sugar.

Do you like pie and mash (with liquor, obviously)?

Peter Tatchell, for his consistency of thought, his courage and his relentlessness.

That question deserves a thread to itself.

Smarties on the sofa. The sofa we had was one with buttons in the base cushion so little "hollows" were formed where the button was located. I used to sort the different coloured smarties into separate hollows. Fuck knows why!
