Merry Christmas to you all.  I have sent forth an urchin to purchase the fattest goose, and will wassail splendidly throughout the day.

And urchins are so hard to find these days too, since they closed the workhouses: merry xmas everyone.

May the joy of Jesus, the ultimate party animal, be yours today.

Revelation......25 year old Lagavulin was invented in heaven.
"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Bit late I know but Merry Christmas all.

No goose here but had a roast duck made by the kids and husband. I did peripheral stuff and some washing up as had been up all night trying to finish some work so was too tired to figure out a duck. Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Sorry all - even later than Gabriella, I wish all a great day regardless of the reason for the celebration!

Bright Blessings, Love and Light,

Yes.  I am a fan of Jim Reeves from my childhood days. I just love his deep baritone.  Silent Night is also one of my favourites.

I don't want to spoil things but Jim Reeves was a terrible racist.

However, I really hope you and family had a good Christmas, sririam.

Yep.
He recorded an album in Afrikaans, toured South Africa, and would not meet any black person.
Back home, he refused to perform with Harry Belafonte.
He has a wonderful voice, though, and was my mum's favourate.
