Tangent: Last night I turned on Radio 4 around 11:0 p.m. and heard Mark Steele's voice so I listened. It was one of his lectures and the subject was Che Guevara. It was of course very amusing, but these lectures are, like his visits to towns, full of facts. The facts of CG's life are extraordinary and inthe the 60s, some of the CIA's (?) thoughts and responses from the US Gov were quite hilariously idiotic. Actually, rather sadly so. They had various plans to assassinate him and some of these were equally bizarre. It is worth a listen I think. End tangent
