That's the point about there being no creches for babies, in addition to no thought out idea that supports mothers in the Commons at all.
It would be a lot easier if they sorted speaking and voting remotely as a permanent approach, drew up a set of rules covering maternity. And that's leaving aside the still archaic approach to the working day.
Needs a complete overhaul.
9 to 5 workday. Hour for lunch. No drinks during the day. Mandatory attendance for 80% of the time except for ministerial posts.
Remote working as suggested above. When sitting in parliament ditch the traditional two sides nature by mixing all the MPs up. Electronic voting system instead of all that lobby bollocks. Loads more Im sure but the institution is so resistant to change that those will have to do for starters.
