Not surprising, given his age, but sad. He was a lovely and much-loved bloke.

Great memories of the Mortimer and Wombles readings on Jackanory, and two roles in the Doctor Who Whoniverse.

Sad but he was a good age. Our children enjoyed the Wombles when they were small.
