Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

He's boldly gone where... oops, wrong Jean-Luc.
I have a pet termite. His name is Clint. Clint eats wood.

I love his 60s stuff. I remember watching Alphaville on a 12" B&W portable, occasionally having to tweak the aerial, entranced. But I have to admit as time past I found less and less in his later work. It seems that in some ways it might have been easier to reinvent cinema than reinvent himself. But, perhaps time for a revisit.

Breathless is one of the all time great directorial debuts.

Little known fact: the 'Make it so' command from Picard was Patrick Stewart's tribute to Godard after he noticed the name similarity and knew that Godard often used the term 'Facilitons cela' when directing.

He opted for assisted suicide in Switzerland.
