Luckily I got purple before falling for the misdirection.

I would take issue with one of the purples and also one of the greens must be an Americanism.

It recently dawned on me that the purple link is often an affix that goes before or after the grid word, but I don't think they do that with any other colour, so I will look for that from now on. Of course, if I've got the other three, the link doesn't matte, but I like to work it out before clicking on enter, if possible.

OK. Well purple works fine if you are an American.

Yellow is OK.

Blue works except one, and that may just be an Americanism.

Green is a disaster and I think they screwed that one up..
