Debris consistent with catastrophic implosionI have read that the pressure waves from implosion events like this travel faster than nerve signals, so none of the victims would be aware of what happened to them. It's better than one alternative which is waiting in the dark until the air runs out or the hypothermia sets in.
I guess the next question is should submersible operators be more tightly regulated?
