Scotland v Germany in the tournament opening match. Fair enough group. Good one for England. Tough one for Wales if they get through the play offs.

And I'll bet there will be a few sighs of relief at UEFA that Israel have been knocked out.

Irn Bru's advert about Scotland's participation.

I have to say it is not a condition I am suffering from.

Scotland's provisional squad.

Perhaps explanation for why I'm not suffering from the optimism in the Irn Bru advert.

BBC pundits on who they think will win the tournament.

Consensus seems to be mainly France once you discount the arguments from wishful thinking. Rachel Corsie should probably be sacked.

It's obviously a joke.

It's a really tired trope and she's paid (I assume) to give considered opinions on footballing matters.

Then she should grow up and do her job.
Part of her job in this is surely making light hearted football remarks. It's probably a contractual requirement for a Scottish pundit to say something like this.

Not at the expense of giving her proper thoughts.

She could have said "anybody but England. But seriously, I think it will be <whoever - not Scotland>."
