Not a tie that I would have been likely to buy for my collection,  soon to be retired, as it's not what I would look for but once upon a time perhaps what someone might have bought me. Ties are a weirdly ephemeral way of collecting, with many grear examples unique and cheap but having pretty well stopped using them, time to move on.

A brief flurry of interest caused by Bradley Wiggins having vintage 'mod' ties pushed up the costs, and indeed value of my collection since that was the main focus but now other than a few rare examples e.g. original Dali designed ties, they are rarely worth more than a couple of pounds.
