Is this a bump in the road, or a slow car crash?

Slow car crash.
Tesla is in serious trouble. Its model line up is aging and it has trouble bringing new models to market. It's one new "car" - the Cybertruck - is pretty much a disaster area and it can't be sold in one of the biggest car markets in the world (Europe) because it would be illegal there. They've just cancelled the new sub $25k car and the Roadster 2 would be out of reach of all but the richest people even if it was in production. Added to that, Tesla is facing competition from other car makers, especially Chinese ones. Finally, its CEO is considered to be toxic by a lot of the people in the demographic that might be expected to buy a BEV.
