If you want a good example of the work of God take a good look at a virus, any virus, and see what a maximum of three genes can do in a very short amount of time. That is why I have remained a Christian.

What you have stated is a non sequitur. What makes you think that what a virus can do has anything to do with 'God'?

I have a very simplistic response to your question. We, both of us, see through different eyes. Through yours it might be a non sequitur, however, through my eyes it is as relevant as anything I know.
You see, if you are atheist than you will never see god in a virus, or anything else, for that matter, why would you, god is as real to you as unicorns are to the world. Your mind will never make such a fallacious connection; however, you must understand that I am a Christian and therefore believe in divinity.
I associated all of my sensory experiences with a living god; therefore, the beauty that is involved in a culture in a petri dish is as God given as photosynthesis or evolution is. I do not expect atheists to see the world through the same eyes as mine and very much understand that I do not see the world as the atheist does.
Therefore, the fundamental answer is that we are looking through very different eyes.
