Hello all!  So, is this the part where I pigeonhole myself?!  ;-) I'm a non believer interested in personal freedoms (including freedom of religion). I am concerned by those who embrace ignorance (which seems to be a trend in my country currently). My goal is to hold views which can withstand criticism and pass them to others.

I look forward to joining the discussions.

As you may have guessed from my username, my name is David Harris and  I’m in my early 40s.

I almost couldn’t become a member because it asked me what the capital of the USA is and I answered Washington DC which was rejected.....  ;D It accepted Washington though so I made it!
