Greetings in the name of Yah Shua Messiah.

I wanted to use the name Truster on the BBC, but it had been taken. I them opted for a truster which simply means ''a truster'' as in a fly fisherman'' and not, without trust. Unfortunately due to a typo it came out as atruster and could not be corrected as the good old Beeb did not have the facility.

Trust is the abandonment of self into the care of another. Truster is simply one who exercises the trust he has been given.

Does miles still drop in? Does anyone remember Steve. I can't remember his tag, but he often agreed with me to a point it was suggested that I was his or he was my puppet.

Good grief, you're still alive! Welcome. I'm not sure if you will remember me. I was Alan on the BBC boards and am now Black Dwarf, a nickname that Athanasius is (wrongly) reputed to have had. Many of the old BBC people are still here, though miles sinclair hasn't been here for ages and ages.

I'm sure we'll soon discuss something .

Heck! Is it really Persecuted? I have been a fan of his for many years ... long before he became Percy, but I'm afraid my old brain refuses to recall his original name on the Beeb. What was it?

A bit late seeing as how I have been posting for a week or so, but here goes:

BBC ID's: Owlswing - used until I was banned as having multiple ID's as a result of my account having been hacked by a troll who decided that because my daughter and I were posting from the same IP address we were the same person rather than two people in rthe same room on the same computer terminal;

By birth - Jewish

By up-bringing: High Church Anglican (one of my uncles was a Bishop)

By conversion and conviction: Wiccan.

Reading - History (1939-45 war and history of the Craft in particular but not exclusively); Humour - Sir Terry Pratchett; Manga - Black Butler, Ouran High School, Rosario Vampire. Cosplay. Ladyboys. In my belief the deities gave humanity the power of free will thus allowing us to make our own decisions based upon our experiences and view of the World.

If we make the wrong decision so be it and we learn from our mistakes.

Imaginary gods? In your belief they are so, in mine they are not and, until someone trustworthy comes back from the Other Side to tell us what is there after death, my view has exactly the same validity as anyone elses, including yours.

And in my belief the ability to choose between options simply evolved as a survival behaviour.

Well I would advise you not to hold your breath while you wait ... because nobody will "come back" after they die. They never have so far in the whole of human history.

Oddly enough, I did years ago, when I was a Christian.

But my ability to reason matured, and helped me see through the nonsense part of it.

Yes, you are right ... and if my memory serves me correctly his original name was his own Steve ******** but I'm damned if I can remember the surname. It was back in the days when it wasn't dangerous to disclose personal details.
